Exotic Flowers are a welcome change from the usual Roses and lilies that are almost a fixture at ceremonies. Heliconia’s are named after Mount Helicon in Greek mythology, where the nine inspirational goddess muses of the arts and the sciences were believed to have lived. The heliconia’s are native to central and South America and the Pacific islands. They come in different shades of pink, yellow, red and orange and are commonly found growing in a cool damp spot, particularly on mountains.
Sample this, the Dracaena (Dragon’s tree) does not require too much water or sunlight, and it can live up to a 1000 years. Better not forget to pass it on in your will! It is a symbol of Power and prosperity. Of course you are hardly going to chance upon a Dracaena in your local park, but why not gift somebody a colorful exotic flower bouquet. They make a particularly good kind of flowers for men, as exotic flowers appear more masculine than the roses and the lilies.
