Flowers are a wonderful gift by themselves. For one, they look good, and smell great and for another they can uplift one’s mood. And no, I am not just making that up, Rutgers University in a recent research proved scientifically how flowers bring happiness. However for those of you’ll who feel that flowers ought to always be accompanied with a ‘gift’ in the traditional sense, here are a couple of flower related gift items you may find interesting. |

Vases
You may have to do some research online to find the perfect flower vase, but if you do manage to find one, rest assured that vases make for a very classy gift to go with your flowers. The best choice would of course have to be the hand-painted vases, many of them come custom designed and signed by the artist. You could choose from glass vases to Porcelain to china to crystal vases. A unique idea would be to gift a vase made and painted by the Tribals in India, these are easily available online.
Candles
Candles make a good accompaniment to those flowers. With the wide variety that is so easily available online these days you can’t possibly go wrong in choosing just the right kind. The most popular kind continue to be votives, scented candles and floating candles. Gold swirled candles in ornate candleholders are a rage too. If you want it to be a more permanent gift you could consider the new range of battery-operated candles. One way or the other, those flowers will look absolutely ravishing in candlelight.
Aromatherapy Hand Made Pillows
The most special gifts will always be the one’s which are made by the ‘sender’ themselves. It is such a beautiful way of saying you care. An aromatherapy pillow is very easy to make. All you need is some very soft silk fabric, and grounded lavender or chamomile powder. Stitch the silk fabric and fill it with equal quantities of the grounded power. Double stitch it to ensure it doesn’t start spilling out. Remember this pillow has to be a fraction of the size of real pillows because the purpose is to place it under the usual pillow for sweetly scented dreams.
Whatever gift you choose to make it should have some relevance to the person you intend to gift it to. Make sure your gifts are wrapped well, and put a nice little card on it so that if it’s a large gathering the hosts will know the gift is from you.
